220 m² house near the sea, La Viñuela

This cortijo in La Viñuela, in the province of Málaga on the Costa del Sol, is set on a well-protected plot of 89,000 m² surrounded by nature and mature fruit trees. The property offers 220 m² of usable space, with views across its own plantation and the surrounding countryside.

The land includes fully grown avocado trees producing approximately 25,000 to 35,000 kilos per year, as well as orange and other citrus trees, figs and medlars. Several drivable roads cross the plantation to facilitate harvesting, and there is potential to plant additional trees. Irrigation is supported by a 4-million-litre water storage tank and three registered wells.

The cortijo comprises a covered terrace, an open terrace, a living room with fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom, three bedrooms and a laundry and storage room with access to a carport. Beneath the house is a space originally intended as a stable for three horses or donkeys, together with a chicken area, a bodega and an oven for bread or pizza.

At the rear of the cortijo, there is a stable for a pig or goat and the former grape-pressing area. The property also includes a separate garage and three paseros, where grapes are dried into sultanas. The original finca dates from 1882 and has been extended gradually over the years.
