Originally built in 1852 as a traditional Andalusian posada and historic grain mill, the property has been carefully restored to preserve its architectural character while incorporating modern comfort.
The estate offers 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Its officially registered Superior Category Casa Rural provides accommodation for up to 12 guests in six individually designed guest suites. The property also holds a municipal Casa Rural con Mesón operating licence, allowing it to function both as a rural tourism establishment and as a licensed restaurant.
The usable area is 569 m² and the plot measures 5,700 m². Approximately 2,000 m² of the grounds has been landscaped for guest use. The outdoor areas include a 10 × 6 metre swimming pool with an integrated jacuzzi, terraces, private parking with several covered spaces, palms, flowering shrubs and mature trees. The gardens offer views across the Guadalhorce Valley towards the Sierra de las Nieves.
The interiors combine original architectural details with modern systems. Features include wooden beams more than 150 years old, reclaimed bricks from churches and monasteries, handcrafted terracotta floors, traditional Arabic tiles and solid oak doors. Double glazing, thermal insulation, soundproofing, air conditioning and electronic key-card access provide contemporary comfort.
The property includes a reception area with a natural stone fireplace, lounge spaces, a restaurant, a breakfast room and a fully equipped professional commercial kitchen. Large restaurant windows overlook the surrounding countryside and open directly onto a covered terrace. The facilities are suitable for restaurant operations, private celebrations, weddings, wellness retreats, culinary experiences and other events.
The six guest suites feature en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, wooden ceilings and individually designed interiors. Several have private terraces, while three include their own private jacuzzi. The 100 m² Master Suite offers a private jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, double shower, fireplace and a large terrace with panoramic views.
Separate from the guest accommodation, the owner’s residence comprises a spacious living room, two bedrooms, one currently used as an office, a bathroom and a private garden. Subject to the relevant permissions, there may be potential to create an additional floor or a rooftop terrace.
The principal buildings stand on land classified as Suelo Urbano No Consolidado (Residential N3). The owner has initiated the AFO (Asimilado a Fuera de Ordenación) procedure at their own expense. The municipality has confirmed that the property qualifies for the declaration, with only the administrative issuance of the certificate remaining. A mortgage is not currently possible until the certificate has been issued.
