Description
La Morisca is an extensive sporting and leisure estate in Jimena de la Frontera, in the province of Málaga on the Costa del Sol. The property extends over 3,500,000 m² of pasture and woodland. Sotogrande is approximately a 20-minute drive away.
The estate was originally used for leisure activities and events, including weddings, bullfighting, horse riding, hiking and hunting. Its facilities include a bullring with corrals and pens, a main country house, equestrian and hunting facilities, two helicopter landing pads and additional agricultural buildings.
At the heart of the estate stands a U-shaped Andalusian-style country house with a usable area of 1,000 m². Arranged on a single floor around a paved courtyard, it comprises three separate dwellings, a chapel, a wine cellar with a lounge area, kitchens, offices, storerooms and two covered porches. All seven habitable spaces have air conditioning and fireplaces. Extensive covered terraces and gardens surround the house, with panoramic views across the valley and towards the mountains.
The estate also includes agricultural buildings, notably a 1,200 m² warehouse with two apartments. Two large water tanks, each with a capacity of 5,000 m³, are supplied with electricity from solar panels and generators. A freshwater lake covering more than 17,000 m² further contributes to the estate’s self-sufficiency.
